Our Story
Founder Hugh Houlbrook, a third-generation potato farmer, developed a passion for caravanning and travel which led him to recognise the growing need for secure, flexible and professionally managed caravan storage facilities.
In 2000, Secure Caravan Storage Northwest Ltd was established with a simple aim:
To provide customers with a better storage experience.
At the time, many storage compounds offered limited flexibility, restricted access and often required owners to leave their keys while vehicles were moved around sites.
Hugh wanted to create something different.

There was no requirement to leave keys
Sites felt spacious, secure and professionally managed
As demand continued to grow, a second site in Puddington was acquired in 2007 due to its excellent location, accessibility and spacious layout.
In 2018, the Frodsham site was added, allowing the business to further expand its premium residential and commercial storage services across the Northwest.
